Seligman and Peterson's 2004 book, which provides a rigorous scientific classification of Character Strengths and Virtues, seems especially relevant in these tumultuous times. It seems the media, on a daily basis, reports a new story of ineptitude, corruption, and/or fraud among government officials and business leaders. What better book to remind us of the characteristics we yearn for in our leaders.
